Dr Sapna Dilgir
MBBS | FRANZCOG | Founder of Wahini Health
I’m an obstetrician, gynaecologist and advanced laparoscopic surgeon. Throughout my years in women’s health, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside women through some of life’s most tender and transformative seasons — from first periods to motherhood, perimenopause and beyond.
Over time, I’ve come to understand that while medicine can heal the body, true healing begins when we feel heard — when care recognises not just symptoms, but the emotional and spiritual threads that weave through them.
That belief became the foundation for my practice and later, for The Wahini House, a space built around compassion, connection and balance between science and soul.
Today, my work brings together advanced gynaecological surgery, holistic care and wellbeing support through a dedicated team of midwives and allied health professionals. I believe women deserve the precision of modern medicine alongside the gentleness of care that honours their entire being.
Inspired by Polynesian traditions that value women, family and community, Wahini Health is more than a clinic. It’s a home for healing — a sanctuary where women can feel seen, supported and whole.
When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll find me by the ocean in the Northern Rivers — walking my dog Marli, surfing, or hiking up a mountain. These small, grounding moments remind me why balance matters, and it’s that same sense of balance I hope to help every woman find.
